Oz Park stroll

It's funny how I was savouring every minute in Chicago over the past week since I thought I was going to London. The beautiful warm nights in Chicago were extra sweet and volleyball on the beach was extra fun.
Last night, JJ and I strolled through Oz Park as we waited for our order at Bacino's to be ready. I really like this series of pics. Hope you enjoy them too!

First tomatoes

Since we moved to a townhouse, we're able to enjoy some different pleasures in life: grilling our food, enjoying coffee on our patio, and growing food on our patio. We love our deck and it truly made the move worth it.

I thought it'd be fun to plant tomatoes. They're higher maintenance than I expected as they're growing out of control and take about 2 gallons of water a day. But since I picked up the seedlings from the Kilbourn greenhouse in mid May, the Sungold has turned into a giant and the rest are catching up fast! Sadly, I'll probably be in London during the thick of tomato season so JJ will end up eating more fruit than he can handle.

Even this gardening satisfies me lots. Can't wait til we get our own backyard one of these days!
